MSC rolls past Lincoln, 7-0

Trevor Plante scored two goals in Mount St. Charles' 7-0 win against Lincoln Friday night at Adelard Arena.

WOONSOCKET – Mount St. Charles continued its unbeaten ways Friday night, rolling to a 7-0 win over Lincoln at Adelard Arena. The first-place Mounties improve to 9-0-1 in Division I while the Lions drop to 2-8-1.
MSC grabbed a 3-0 lead after one period behind goals from Trevor Plante, Alex Erban and Callan Morisseau, who finished with two goals. Ryan Berard jumped into the scoring column with a goal and an assist in the second period while Plante netted his second goal of the game in the third period. Benjamin Heroux wrapped up the scoring at 13:34 of the third stanza.
The Mounties, who outshot the Lions by a 64-12 count, saw Daniel Foster stop all 12 shots. Cody Phillips was called upon to make 57 stops for the Lions.
