WOONSOCKET- Raymond J. Morin 94, of Winter St. died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Cecile (Lamothe) Morin.
Mr. Morin was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Henri and Maria (Michon) Morin.
He was a textile worker for the former Argon Worsted Co. and Fenwall Co. in Ashland, MA for most of his life, until his retirement in 1984.
He is survived by three sons Roland Morin of SC, Albert Morin of Woonsocket, and Eugene Morin of Bellingham, three daughters Jeannine Griggs of Bellingham, Jacqueline Naylor of NY, and Monique Bradley of Woonsocket, fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Mr. Morin was predeceased by his daughter Suzanne Morin and seven brothers and sisters.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier &Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Friday 5-7 PM. Please visit
