MANVILLE- Caroline H. Peloquin, 89, of Railroad St., Manville, died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center with her family at her side. She was the wife of the late Bernard Peloquin.
Born in Manville, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Antonia (Ziemba) Holubesko. She was a lifelong resident of Manville.
Mrs. Peloquin was employed by the State of Rhode Island school lunch program with the Lincoln schools for over 25 years. She also worked at the Manville-Jenckes mill in her early years and later at Piette Jewelers before her retirement.
Caroline's life centered around her home and family. She found joy in tending to her flower garden and being in her yard. She loved sewing and cooking.
Caroline's family will deeply miss her. They always remember and treasure the unselfish love and devotion she exemplified throughout her life.
She is survived by three sons, James Peloquin, and his wife Karen, of Manville, Carl Peloquin, and his wife Cynthia, of North Attleboro, and Joseph Peloquin, and Catherine, of Manville. Three granddaughters, Laura Correia of Manville, Heather Peloquin of North Oxford, MA, and Erinn Peloquin of Maryland, three great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Zachary, and Lucas. She was the sister of Walter Holubesko of Sandwich, MA, Stephanie Bissonette of North Kingstown, Mary Shackelton of FL, Stasha Waskiewicz of Woonsocket, Phyllis Huizenga of Virginia, Louise Warszawiski and Sophie Mei both of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her funeral will be Tuesday at 9:00 am from the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 71 Central St., Manville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Division St., Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are Monday from 4-8 pm. Flowers are welcome.
