ANCHORAGE, AK - USAF SSGT. Paul R.G. Auclair, Jr., 28, formerly of Cumberland died unexpectedly Friday, January 28, 2011. He was the husband of Jenni L. (Cornelle) Auclair.
Born in Woonsocket, the beloved son of Celina (Charland) Auclair of Cumberland and the late Paul R. G. Auclair, he had lived in Cumberland before moving to North Carolina for 4 years. He had been stationed in Alaska for the past 3 years.
While in the Air Force, he was deployed three times, twice to Iraq and once to Korea.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his two sisters, Candace A. Lett of Columbia, SC and Marie E. Auclair of Cumberland; his paternal grandparents, Florence C. (Parenteau) Auclair of Woonsocket and Louis A. Auclair of Cumberland; his aunts and uncles, Judy and Mike Hubbs, Jeannette and Eugene Joyal, Joseph and Linda Charland, Anthony and Rosemary Charland, Alice and James Nuttall, Harry and Londa Charland, Jeanne Martin, Edgar Charland, Jr. and the late Clement Charland.; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Smith of Cumberland; his father-in-law, Bruce Cornelle of Johnston; his brothers-in-law, John and Bobby Smith, both of Cumberland; and many cousins.
His funeral will be held WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 9 at 10 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. His burial, with military honors, will be at a later date in Randolph Cemetery, Randolph, NH.
