WESTFIELD- Anne D. Pasquino 72, of Westfield, and a native and former Franklin resident, died suddenly Sunday February 6, 2011 at her home in Westfield.
Born in Franklin, December 28, 1938 a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Giardino) Pasquino she was raised and educated in Franklin, and graduated Franklin High School class of 1956.
She continued her education at Emmanuel College in Boston where she graduated in 1960. From there it was on to Brown University in Providence where she obtained her Masters Degree in 1964. She is also a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and obtained a Doctorates Degree in Education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
For more than 32 years and until her retirement, Miss Pasquino taught math and computer science at Westfield State College.
She enjoyed; traveling, skiing, kayaking, hiking, sailing, and the outdoors.
She is survived by 3 brothers; Camillo, Alfred, and Robert Pasquino all of Franklin, a dear friend, Marie Mercure of Sturbridge, a sister in law Lorraine Pasquino and many nieces and nephews.
She is also the sister of the late Caroline Lavoie and Lawrence Pasquino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday February 11th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin,
www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin, at 10AM.
Following cremation, burial will take place in St. Anne Cemetery in Sturbridge.
