WOONSOCKET- Doris T. (Hunt) Leduc, 88, of Summer St., died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Leduc.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Beatrice (Merritt) Hunt.
A 1941 graduate of Woonsocket High School and a 1942 graduate of Johnson & Wales School of Business, Mrs. Leduc was an office clerk for the Woonsocket Board of Canvassers and the Woonsocket Education Dept., retiring in 1984.
She is survived by a daughter, with whom she lived, Kathryn M. Dumais and her husband Gerald of Woonsocket, two grandchildren, Bethany Sanford and Jon Dumais and five great grandchildren, Jennifer, Eric, Zachary, Abigail and Ryan. She was the sister of the late Rita Beauchemin and Beatrice McNamee.
Her funeral will be held Friday, February 18, 2011, beginning with visitation, at 9AM in the Holt Funeral Home 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Sacred Heart Church, Second Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, No. Smithfield.
