WOONSOCKET- Andre (Andy) D. Bourget, 56, of Harrison Ave., died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, February 17, 2011. He was the husband of Denise O. (Menard) Bourget whom he married July 3, 1976.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Armand and Cecile (Beaudry) Bourget.
He worked as a Foreman for Consolidated Container Co., Franklin, MA. Previously, he worked twenty-five years for Miller Electric and had served in the Navy.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Bourget of Pawtucket and Jeanine Echevarria of Woonsocket, three brothers, Roger, Florian and Laurent Bourget, all of Woonsocket, one sister, Agnes (Penny) Poulin of Cocco, FL and a granddaughter, Magdalena (Magie) Echevarria. He was the brother of the late Jeaninne Lamoore and Rita Travis.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 9:30AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Monday from 5 - 8PM.
