WOONSOCKET- Vang Kingvilay, 72, of Woonsocket, died Sunday evening at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Chantay Kingvilay.
Born in Laos, Mr. Kingvilay came to the United States in 1981 and resided in Woonsocket for the past several years.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family.
His funeral service will be Saturday at 8:30 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Following services the funeral procession will depart for Swan Point Cemetery, 580 Blackstone Blvd. Providence. Visiting hours are Friday (TODAY) from 5-8 pm in the funeral home.
