BELLINGHAM- Marion E. (Bethel) Crimmings, 92, of Bellingham died Thursday, February 24 at St. Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville. She was the wife of the late Warren Crimmings who died in 2002.
She was born in Milford; daughter of the late Fred & Blanche (Crocket) Bethel and was raised in Milford and was a graduate of Milford High School.
She was first employed at the former Knowlton Hat Co. in Upton; she then was employed by Pratt & Whitney of East Hartford, CT; finally she worked for the former Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville from which she retired in 1982.
Mrs. Crimmings was a member of the Milford & Bellingham Grange. She attended and was active at the Bellingham Center Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother Robert Bethel of Uxbridge, a niece Beth Boutiette of Douglas and other nephews & nieces & grand nephews & nieces and many friends. She was predeceased by two brothers Preston & Albert Bethel and a sister Mildred Johnson.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, February 28 at 10:30 a.m. in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 congress St. Milford, burial will be in Union Cemetery in Bellingham. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 27,from 2 to 4:00 p.m.
