WOONSOCKET- Jeannine L. (Paulhus) DuBreuil, 81, of Woonsocket passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. DuBreuil.
Born in Woonsocket on June 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Clara (Richard) Paulhus.
She was the loving mother of Melissa A. Mathurin of Woonsocket, Robert T. DuBreuil and his wife Lisa of Salem, MA; and her cherished grandchildren, Alicia A. and Courtney L. Mathurin and Mary X. DuBreuil. She was the sister of Rachel Loyear of Charlotte, NC, Frances Monk and Simone Nadeau both of Kissimmee, FL, Richard Paulhus of Charlotte, NC, Robert and Ronald Paulhus both of Bellingham, MA, Clara Pratt of Tennessee and the late Claire Lanctot, Albert, Constance, Paulette and Gerard Paulhus.
She was a longtime resident of Woonsocket formerly of Bellingham where she was raised. Jeannine was a stitcher at Sadwins for many years until retiring in 1999. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church where she was a Catechism Teacher for 10 years and volunteer at the carnival ticket booth. She was a member of the Woonsocket Emblem Club, Bernon Heights PTO, Library and Office Volunteer. She enjoyed Tai Chi, sewing and crocheting. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, March 3, at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, March 2, from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jeannine L.
