DELRAY BEACH, FL- Richard O. Plante, 77, of Delray Beach, born in Pawtucket, RI went to be with our Lord on February 27, 2011. He leaves behind a loving wife, Doris Plante, who has celebrated 57 years of marriage with him.
Surviving family members consist of his three children, Patricia Powell of WA, Cheryl Vitello of FL and Richard W. Plante of GA, along with their spouses, Carl Vitello and Kim Plante. Richard has six grandchildren and one great grandson: Nicholas and Justin Powell, Christopher and Daniel Vitello, Kelly and Kenneth Plante and Dylan Powell. His surviving siblings are brothers Arthur and Almanzar Plante, and sister Melia Lussier.
Visitation Wednesday (today) 2-4 & 6-8PM with a Prayer Service Wednesday evening at Boynton Memorial Chapel; 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd. Funeral Mass Thursday, March 3, 2011, 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
