Ernest A. Brown

In memory of their daughter Lauren Rose, Christine and Steven Norwood and their 3 year-old son, Andrew, of North Smithfield, make a donation of $5,000 to Monsignor Gadoury Primary School principal Mary Chabot, left, in support of the school on what would have been their daughter's 6th birthday, during a special presentation at the school Wednesday. Lauren Rose Norwood died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at 5 months and would have been a student at the school this year. The family, through their annual Links for Lauren golf tournament, held each year at Metacomet Country Club in East Providence, donates to organizations, such as Monsignor Gadoury School. "We like to find organizations that benefit children, to help children be the best they can be, or in some way help those who have experienced a similar loss as us", said Christine Norwood.
