NORTH SMITHFIELD- Beatrice L. (Savoie) Ryan, 75, resident of North Smithfield, died March 3, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the loving wife of the late John J. Ryan.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Eva (Rattie) Savoie Vadeboncoeur and her stepfather Henry Vadeboncoeur.
Beatrice worked for the Amica Insurance Co. as a rater 1, for twenty years retiring in 1999. Her hobby included walking the dogs.
She is survived by her four daughters, Cheryl L. Tessier of Alturas CA and Lawrence Cavasso Sr., Susan E. Valeriani of Madison NH and her husband James, Jo-Ann D. Sullivan of No. Smithfield and her husband Ralph and Patricia L. Gurka of Johnston, eight grandchildren, Melinda Valeriani, Jesse Valeriani, Tara Mintz, Alyssa Costa, John Gurka, Madison Gurka, Ralph and Derek Sullivan, two great grandchildren, step brothers, Lucien & Robert Vadeboncoeur.
She was preceded in death by her sister Simone Savoie and step sister, Muriel Boisvert.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St. Slatersville. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the ASPCA. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4pm until 7pm.
