BLACKSTONE- Lucille (Marcotte) Hogue St. Germain, 83, of Blackstone, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Milford Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Damase A. Hogue and the late George E. St. Germain.
Born in Woonsocket on October 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Adjutor and Marie Louise (Laquerre) Marcotte.
She was the loving mother of Marcel G. Hogue and his wife Denise of North Smithfield, Roger Hogue and his wife Kim of Bellingham, Lorraine G. Boucher and her husband Walter Kanz of Millville, Jocelyn J. Pelypec and her husband Michael of Pascoag and the late Dennis, Leon and Collette Hogue. She leaves her cherished 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Alcide "Pete" Marcotte of Blackstone, Exilda Jobin of Blackstone, Gabrielle Beaudoin of Cumberland, and the late George, Gerard and Andre Marcotte, and Aurelie Gingras.
A lifelong resident of Blackstone, Lucille worked as a weaver for area textile mills. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church. She enjoyed collecting nick nacks, playing card and spending time with her grandchildren. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, March 21, at 8:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday from 8:30 to 10:30AM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. At the request of the family, please omit flowers. To sign guest book visit
