COVENTRY- PALARDY, NANCY M. (ROY), R.N. 50, of Autumn Ridge Rd., Coventry, passed away at home while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 17, 2011. She was the wife of John E. Palardy.
They have been married for 25 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Roland and Connie (Grenon) Roy of Cumberland.
Nancy had been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, employed most of those years at Kent Hospital. She was an avid gardener, photographer and an amateur farmer.
She was the mother of Kristin A. Palardy and Jessica L. Palardy both of Coventry. Nancy was the sister of Ronnie Roy of Naples, Florida, Vivian Silva of Smithfield, Jackie Gregoire of Blackstone, MA and Charlene Whitman of Plymouth, N.H. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be on Tuesday at 9:00 am from the R. A. IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours are Monday 4 -7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., P.O. Box 9376, Framingham, MA 01701-9376 will be appreciated.
