FRAMINGHAM, MA- Amelia T. (Wawszkiewicz) Romat, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday at the Kathleen Daniel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Framingham. She was the loving wife of Joseph Romat.
Born, August 6, 1916. in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Victor & Helen (Zacharyasz) Wawszkiewicz.
She and her husband resided on Maple St. in Holliston, MA. for many years before moving to Framingham..
Amelia was employed as a printer for the Dennison Manufacturing Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1983.
Her favorite pastime was knitting. Besides her husband she leaves several nieces & nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joseph & Andrew Wawszkiewicz & Natalie Brien.
Her Funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30AM from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives & Friends are invited. A visitation hour will be Tuesday morning from 9:30AM to 10:30AM.
