CUMBERLAND- Martitz-Delisle, Florence, 86, of Cumberland and formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011. She was the wife of the late Ernest Martitz and the late Philip Delisle. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Vernon) Lemay.
Mrs. Martitz-Delisle had lived most of her life in Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland in 1995. She was a member of the 3rd Order of Saint Francis and a member of the Holy Spirit Fraternity of the Franciscan Order.
She is survived by a step-son, Normand Delisle, a step-daughter, Muriel Morrissette, several nieces and nephews, including her niece and goddaughter, Joyce Anderson and her husband Ralph. She was the sister of the late Raymond and Edward Lemay.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 8:30AM from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday, 8:30-9:30AM, prior to the Mass in the funeral home. For online condolences,
