BURRILLVILLE- Encarnation, Muriel A., 87, passed away on March 17, 2011 at Bayberry Commons in Burrillville. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Encarnation.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Alphonsine (Mandeville) Fontaine. She was a member of AWSCC, AARP, NARFE, RSVP and Parkview Social Club.
Before retiring in 1988 she worked for Finklesteins in Woonsocket, the Department of the Navy, the Selective Service and the Social Security Administration.
She is survived by her two sons, Charles and his wife Diane, of Burrillville, Arthur and his wife, Donna, of Brownfield, ME, four grandchildren; Steven Encarnation and his wife Melissa, of Woonsocket, Louise Anderson of Barrington, Joshua Encarnation and his wife Melinda, of Omaha, NE and Heather Stewart and her husband, Todd, of Saco, ME and eight great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 26th at 10am in All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun Street, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visitation omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Bayberry Commons Activity Fund, 181 Davis Drive, Pascoag, RI 02859 or Odyssey Hospice of RI, 2374 post Road, Suite 206, Warwick, RI 02886
