WOONSOCKET- Rochelle T. (Tellier) Gaulin, 84, of Pond Street, died Sunday March 20, 2011,at the Holiday Retirement Home, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Roland A. Gaulin.
Born in Pawtucket, daughter of the late Emmanuel and Rhea E. ( Vandel) Tellier.
Mrs. Gaulin worked for Brisbane Mill and Woonsocket Spinning Co. for several years and as an Assistant Cook for the Woonsocket School Lunch Program.
She was active in St. Joseph Church and volunteered for St. Joseph Bingo for 45 years. Rochelle spent her retirement years enjoying her family.
Beside her husband Roland of 64 years, she is survived by five children, Ronald and his wife Joanne M. Gaulin, Roger and Francine Gaulin of Woonsocket, Monique S. and husband John Rackliffe, of Smithfield, Rochelle and husband Allen Piekos of Woonsocket, Jeffrey and wife Susan Gaulin, of Woonsocket. One brother Roger Tellier of Woonsocket, twelve grandchildren, and nine great- grandchildren.
She was also the mother of the late Gerard Gaulin and sister of the late Georgette Kwasnicki and Lucy Bardell.
Her funeral will be held Friday March 25, 2011, at 10 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, with a Mass at 11 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited; Calling hours are Thursday 5-8 P.M.
