Normand C. Berard

WOONSOCKET- Normand C. Berard 81, formerly of Manville Rd., and St. Paul St. North Smithfield, died Tuesday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Theresa (Tetreault) Poitras Berard and the late Blanche (Leclair) Berard.
Mr. Berard was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Clovis and Juliette (Piche) Berard.
He was a meat cutter for Star Market for twenty four years retiring in 1988.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Paul M. Berard and a daughter Denise Chadwick, one sister Jeannine Corrieri and three grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Muriel, Louise, Marcel, Richard, and Pauline Berard, Madeleine Boiteau, and Theresa Murtaugh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, Friday April 1st at 10:00 AM in St. Agatha's Church, Joffre St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Manville. Please visit
