SLATERSVILLE- Hedwig C. Dobrowolski, 87, resident of Wakefield, formally of Slatersville died March 29, 2011 at the So. County Hospital in Wakefield.
Loving wife of the late Stanley W. Dobrowolski.
Born in Worcester MA, a daughter of the late Julian & Stanislawa (Hetnick) Ruchala.
She worked as a seamstress for the Denhom Co. in Worcester MA; she also was a teacher in painting and doing arts and crafts. She was a member of St. Johns Ladies Guild and the womens auxiliary of the VFW.
She is survived by her children, Robert Dobrowolski of Slatersville, Judy McNerney of Smithfield, Gail Dobrowolski of Wakefield, and Susan Terry of Fort Myers FL, grandchildren Kyle and Matthew McNerney, and Abbie Dobrowolski.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday at 3:30pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield. Burial in St. Johns Cemetery in Slatersville will be held privately. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 1pm until 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to National Foundation for the Blind of RI PO Box 14404 E. Providence RI 02914.
