Albert V. Leclerc

CUMBERLAND- Albert V. Leclerc, 65, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 1, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Carmela (Celentano) Leclerc for 40 years.
Born in Fall River, MA he was the son of Valmore Leclerc of Cumberland, and the late Mary (Malenfant) Leclerc.
Mr. Leclerc was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during Vietnam.
He was an employee of the United States Postal Service until his retirement.
In addition to being an active member of the Disabled American Veterans, he also volunteered his time to other Veteran organizations.
He enjoyed listening to and playing music. He was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Church Choir.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves behind his children, Maria Leclerc, Blanche Jackson and her husband Sean, Valmore Leclerc and his wife Shane, Angela Leclerc and her husband Nicholas D'Amico and Marco Leclerc. He was the grandfather of Toni Lopes, Andrea Marie Leclerc, Patrick Ryan Bacon, Emma and Benjamin Jackson, Pearl D'Amico and Quinn Leclerc. He is survived by his brothers Ronald and Donald Leclerc, niece Rhonda Laferriere and nephew Steven Leclerc, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Military honors and Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Monday from 5-8 PM.
