Florence B. Laprade

WOONSOCKET- Florence B. (Brouillette) Laprade 102, formerly of Mendon Rd. died Thursday at the Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Napoleon Laprade.
Mrs. Laprade was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late George and Adele (Marquis) Brouillette.
She was a spooler for the former Bell Worsted Co. and a packer for the Dennison Co. before retiring forty nine years ago. Mrs. Laprade was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Senior Citizens. She was an avid card player, and one of the Red Sox's Greatest fans.
She is survived by a son Robert J. Laprade of Woonsocket, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7 PM. Please visit
