WOONSOCKET- Lillian E. (Cournoyer) Therien, 85, formerly of Woonsocket and Jensen Beach, FL, died Monday April 4th at The Holiday in Lincoln. She was the wife of the late Armand F. Therien.
She is survived by two sons, Norbert Therien and his wife Jeanne of Woonsocket and George Therien and his wife Elizabeth of Burrillville, two sister Jeannette Cote of Woonsocket and Stella Turcotte of Dedham, MA two grandchildren Brian Therien of CO, and Jennifer Stefflin of Woonsocket, and two great-grandchildren Benjamin and Baily. She was also the sister of the late Edna Vadenais.
A Mass of Christian Burial has been scheduled for Monday, April 18th at 10:00 AM in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland, followed by the previously scheduled committal service at 11:30 AM in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. Please visit
