F. Pauline Yuele Gracy

BELLINGHAM- F. Pauline (Young) Yuele Gracy, 76, of Bellingham, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center after being stricken at home. She was the beloved wife of Franklin N. Gracy, Jr. and the late Paul F. Yuele.
Born in Norfolk, VA on August 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Florence P. (Taylor) Young.
She was the loving mother of Stephen A. Yuele and his wife Linda of Ann Arbor, MI, Jonathan P. Yuele and his wife Jo-Ann of Manville, RI; and her cherished grandchildren Danielle Yuele of Boston, MA and Joseph Yuele of Upton, MA. She was the sister of Juliana Geris and her husband Mike of Oak Hill, VA.
A resident of Bellingham for 43 years formerly of Worcester and Chesapeake, VA where she was raised, a graduate of Great Bridge High School Class of 1952 and continued to DePaul School of Nursing in Norfolk, VA graduating in 1954 as a Registered Nurse. She served in the Air Force Nursing Corps and attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant. After the war, she worked at the Medfield State Hospital and retired as the Chief Hospital Supervisor in 1996. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and served many churches in Bellingham, including St. Brendan's, St. Blaise, and the North Bellingham Bible Baptist Church. She was an avid sports fan and loved football and the NE Patriots, also enjoyed motorcycling and owned her own trike. She built an experimental plane together with her husband Frank in Florida and was named "Calculated Risk". She enjoyed spending time at their home in Florida. She was a true dog lover. Devoted to her family, she will be missed by all.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 20, at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at 1:00PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, April 19, from 5 to 8PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
