Paul R. Vanasse

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Paul R. Vanasse, 64, formerly of North Smithfield and Wakefield, died Sunday. He was the husband of Laura Fredrikson.
Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of Paul O. Vanasse of North Smithfield and the late Lucille T. (Armstrong) Vanasse.
Mr. Vanasse an automobile salesman, specializing in SAAB's. He enjoyed shotgun sports, fishing, camping, and had a great love for the outdoors.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Lancellotti and her husband Guy of Narragansett and Michele Vanasse; a sister Celeste L. LeVasseur; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander Lancellotti, Kylie Durand and Jakob Ney.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday at 1 PM in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the DAV, 380 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903. For guest book and condolences.
