NORTHBRIDGE- Hannah Marie Rabitor, 9, of 31 Quaker Lane died Sun. April 24 after being stricken ill at home.
She is survived by her father Jonathan H. Rabitor of Northbridge, with whom she lived; her mother Julie L. Girard of Woonsocket; her paternal grandparents Thomas J. Sr. and Evelyn C. Rabitor of Whitinsville; maternal grandparents Marie and Lee Balcom of Douglas and their extended families; her maternal great grandmother Blanche Bessette of N. Smithfield; many cousins including Emily, Connor and Kerri; many aunts and uncles including Tommy and Alissa Rabitor of Whitinsville and Marilyn Rabitor and her boyfriend Keith Westberg of Millbury; as well as the entire Rabitor and Lachapelle families.
She was born in Worcester on July 20, 2001 and was currently a 4th grade student at Balmer Elementary School in Northbridge. She also enjoyed church activities at St. John's Church in Slatersville and the Faith Fellowship Church in Uxbridge.
Hannah loved music and was passionate about animals, art, and nature. Always curious in nature, she had a great imagination. She was a loving caring little girl who will be dearly missed.
Her funeral will be held Fri. April 29 at 10 a.m. in Faith Fellowship Church, Douglas St. Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Providence Rd. Northbridge. Calling hours at Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge are Thur. April 28 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Donations in Hannah's name may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of MA, RI, NH, & ME, 357 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA 01887.
