EAST GREENWICH- Bourbonniere, Loretta R. (Menard), 88, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Bourbonniere.
Born in Canada; she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Eveline Menard.
A life-long Democrat, Loretta was active politically through the 1960's/70's and served on the Board of Canvassers in Woonsocket.
She is survived by: two children Robert A. Bourbonniere of New London, NH and Richard A. Bourbonniere of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother Anatol Menard of Woonsocket. She was the sister of the late Jean Paul Menard.
A funeral service will be held in Burlington, Ontario, Canada on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Interment will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, South Bellingham, MA at a later date.
