LINCOLN- Ruben A. Mendoza, 64, of Old Main Street, Manville died unexpectedly Sunday, May 1, 2011 at home. He was the beloved husband of Carmen (Gimotea) Mendoza.
Born in San Juan Batangas, The Philippines, a son of the late Florentino and Teodora (Almariego) Mendoza, he had lived in Manville for the past 30 years.
Mr. Mendoza was an accounts payable representative for CVS, Woonsocket for the past 21 years.
He was a communicant of St. James Church, Manville.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Rummel Mendoza and his fiancee, Desiree Teope of The Bronx, NY and Charles Mendoza and his fiancee, Myla Lacson of Easton, MA; one daughter, Maricar Mendoza and her fianc Adam Caressimo of Lincoln; five brothers, Rudy Mendoza of Hackensack, NJ, Jesse Mendoza of Orlando, FL, Wilfredo Mendoza of Reseda, CA, Daniel Mendoza of Thousand Oaks, CA and Florentino Mendoza, Jr. of Elizabeth, NJ; one sister, Elaine Roxas of Los Angeles, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held SATURDAY, MAY 7 at 8:30 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
