LAS VEGAS, NV- Claudette Kemp, 72, daughter of Jeanette & Arbea Gouin, born in Woonsocket, RI, October 8, 1938, passed away March 22, 2011 at her home in Las Vegas, NV from a bout with cancer.
Claudette enjoyed her move to Las Vegas in 2003, but did miss her friends dearly. She was a devoted mother who always put her children and family first. She found joy in country music (as well as oldies) going to shows, dining out and, of course, he once a week casino splurge with $20. She also enjoyed her job at Target & looked forward to the "girls night out." And anyone who knows her, knows her as the superstar "Avon" lady. She never gave that up either. She loved socializing!
Services were held at the Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, March 26, in L.V.
She is survived by her partner, Roger Desrosiers; daughters Cheryl (John) Bustamente, Linda (Jim) Cintron; son Richard Poirier, all now residing in Las Vegas; sisters Muriel DeLuca of Las Vegas and Suzanne Hebert of Woonsocket, RI, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
