SOUTH EASTON MA- Richard J. Manning, Sr., 66, of Meadow Brook Lane, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late James C. and Florence (Durand) Manning.
Mr. Manning worked as a Test Technician for the former CTI-Cryogenics, Mansfield, MA and was an avid Red Sox fan.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Manning, Jr. of No. Providence and Steven Manning of Slatersville, a brother, Kenneth Manning of Nasonville, a sister, Kathy LaFleur of Nasonville and two grandchildren, Hailey Lyn Manning and Skyler Mary Manning.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11AM in St. Theresa's Church, 35 Dion Drive, Nasonville. Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, No, Smithfield. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 No. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
