MANVILLE- Pauline T. Carey 67, of Prospect St. Manville died Thursday at Roger Williams Hospital. She was the wife of Normand B. Carey.
Pauline was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Adelard and Alice (Parenteau) Lassonde. She was a care giver for Home Instead Senior Care of RI for three years and had previously worked for Bacou-Dalloz the former Uvex for over sixteen years. Pauline enjoyed gardening, knitting, and was an avid Patriot's fan.
Besides her husband she leaves a son Gerard J. Carey and his wife Darlene of Woonsocket and two grandchildren Dylan and Liam. She was also the sister of the late Gerard Lassonde.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday May 16th at 10:00 AM in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Rd. in Cumberland. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations to, The Leukemia Society of RI, 1210 Pontiac Ave.. Cranston, RI 02920 in her memory would be appreciated. Please visit for directions and guestbook.
