BLACKSTONE- Michelle A. (Roy) Cousineau, 55, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Milford Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 5 years of Wayne G. Cousineau.
Born in Exeter, NH on August 21, 1955, she was the daughter of Marie L. (Bouley) Gregoire and her husband Roger of Woonsocket and the late Robert R. Roy.
She was the loving mother of Eric R. Martin of Newmarket, NH, Shawn R. Martin and his fiance Sarah Spulecki of Millville, MA, Dana M. Kelly and her husband Matthew of Blackstone, MA; and her cherished ten grandchildren. She was the sister of Raymond G. Roy and his wife Lorraine of Blackstone, MA, Richard E. Roy and his wife Kendra of Bellingham, MA and Robin B. Charland and her husband James of Center Barnstead, NH. Also she was the stepmother of Wayne G. Cousineau, Jr. and his fiance Christine Roy, and Michelle T. Cousineau all of Blackstone, MA and the late Jennifer L. Cousineau.
A lifelong resident of Blackstone, Michelle attended Blackstone Elementary Schools and graduated from the David Fanning High School of Worcester Class of 1973, and graduated from CCRI receiving her Associates Degree in Accounting. Michelle worked as an accounting clerk at The Art Store in Milford for many years and also at the D.C.P. in Bellingham as a customer service representative. A true nature lover, she enjoyed camping, bird watching, music and karaoke. Devoted to her family and friends, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 14, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA, followed by a "Celebration of Life" for Michelle at the Millerville Mens Club Hall, Lloyd St., Blackstone.
