BLACKSTONE Keith R. Carlisle, 38, of Blackstone, passed away suddenly after being stricken at home on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the loving, caring and devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Brenda E. (Lemay) Carlisle of 15 years. May 27th they would have celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary.
He was also a wonderful father to Kayla and Kristen Carlisle.
Born in Woonsocket on July 20, 1972, he was the son of Daniel W. and Susan (Barrette) Carlisle of Bellingham. He also leaves his brother, Kevin Carlisle and his wife Patti, and their son Marc, of Mendon. He was the son-in-law of Cheryl Grant of Northbridge, and Donald Lemay and his wife Paula of Uxbridge; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brother and sister-in-laws, and cousins.
Keith graduated in 1990 from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Upton.
He was employed for the last 15 years with the Town of Bellingham DPW. He was a member of the Cercle Laurier Inc. of Woonsocket. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, motorcycles and creating things in his barn. He was hard working family man and father whose most prized possessions was his wife and daughters. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 19, at 7:30PM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 5 to 7:30PM prior to service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in the family lot at the Center Cemetery, Mechanic St., Bellingham. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Keith Carlisle Children's Memorial Fund, c/o Dean Bank, 21 Main Street, Franklin, MA 02038, or stop by any branch office.
