Pasco A. "Pat" Gatta

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Pasco A. "Pat" Gatta, 79, of School St., and formerly of Skyview Ave., No. Smithfield, died May 15, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Ann M. (Ventre) Gatta.
Born June 30, 1930 in Providence, a son of the late Rosario and Lena (Russo) Gatta. He lived most of his life in No. Smithfield.
Pat worked as a machinist for the former Madison Industries. He also worked part time for the former Zayre's Department Store.
He is survived by a son, Steven Gatta of No. Smithfield; two grandchildren, Lena and Gabriella Gatta; two sisters, Malfada Andrea of Providence and Rose Petracca of Cranston.
He was the brother of the late Christie Gatta, Mary Palazzoli, Ethel Gatta and Jennie Andrade.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., No. Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Anthony's Church, Greene St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 pm.
