WOONSOCKET- Mrs. Aurore M. (Berube) Kiczak, 90, of Second Ave., Woonsocket died peacefully May 16, 2011 at The Friendly Home with her family at her side. She was the wife of Myron P. Kiczak and had just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Born Oct. 20, 1920 in Woonsocket. She was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Cormier) Berube. She was a lifelong city resident.
Aurore was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Fairmount Manor Club and a former member of the woman's auxiliary at the Fairmount Post.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four grandchildren, Pearl Greco, Alfred Staples, Pamela Lahousse, Scott Staples and six great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Pearl Staples and sister of the late Jeannette Menard and Bernadette Duquette.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Family Church, So. Main St., Woonsocket. She will symbolically be laid to rest on the 24th anniversary of her daughter, Pearl M. Staples passing in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association, 245 Waterman Ave., Providence, RI 02906. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7 pm.
