NO. SMITHFIELD- Carole L. (Marshall) Quinley, of Bradenton, Fl, formerly of No. Smithfield, died Thursday, May 19, 2011. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Quinley.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Gladys (Bibbins) Marshall.
Mrs. Quinley was employed at the VA Hospital in Providence for over twenty years, retiring in 2007 as an Associate Chief Nurse. She previously worked at the former Woonsocket Hospital, Fogarty Hospital and the now Landmark Medical Center. She was a graduate of the New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and received her BS in Nursing and Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration and Management from Salve Regina College, Newport.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Quinley and his wife Cherie, a daughter, Wendy Carey and her husband David of No. Smithfield and four grandchildren, Morgan and Marshall Quinley and Adam and Jason Carey.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:30AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 - 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
