UXBRIDGE- Edward J. Baldyga, 83, of Uxbridge, MA died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Julia (Farrell) Baldyga who passed away in 2008.
He was born in Blackstone, MA, the son of John and Mary (Jaworski) Baldyga.
Mr. Baldyga is a World War II Navy Veteran and served on the USS A.M. Sumner. He was a tool maker most of his career and worked for Imperial Knife. He was a member of the St. Paul's Men's Club and also the PACC in Blackstone, MA.
Mr. Baldyga is survived by three daughters: Susan Misiora of Baltimore, MD; Jill Manak of Webster, MA ;Karen Baldyga of Uxbridge, MA; and one brother: Ted Baldyga of Enfield CT.
His funeral will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, May 26, 2011 from the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 38 Main St., Blackstone, MA followed by a mass at 11:00 am in St. Paul's Church, St. Paul's St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Gaskill St., Blackstone, MA.
Calling hours are Thursday morning from 9:00-10:30 am.
