NO. SMITHFIELD- Florence G. (Davis) Brushett, 85, of Old Great Rd., No. Smithfield, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Arthur M. Brushett.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Esther (Welch) Davis.
Besides raising her family, Mrs. Brushett enjoyed quilting and cooking
She is survived by three sons, David C. Brushett of Cambridge, NY, Timothy J. Brushett of No. Smithfield and Andrew J. Brushett of Block Island, a brother, Donald Davis of Allentown, PA, three sisters, Agnes Ballard of Cranston, Ruth Anderson of FL and Helen McGannon of SC, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Arthur M. Brushett, Jr and sister of the late George, Harold, James and Thomas Davis.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Slatersville Cemetery, No. Smithfield. Calling hours are Friday from 5 - 8PM.
