WOONSOCKET- Roger Tellier, 80, of Bourassa Ave. died Sunday May 29, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Cecile D. (Verville) Tellier.
Born in Pawtucket, Son of the late Emmanuel and Rhea (Vandal) Tellier.
He served in the United States Air Force and obtained the rank of Staff Sargent. Mr. Tellier worked many years at Armour & Co. as a salesman and later at Star Market in Franklin, MA.
Besides his wife he is survived, one daughter, Diane Emidy of Harrisville, R.I. Three sons, Marc Tellier of West Virginia, John Tellier, of North Smithfield, Paul Tellier of South Attleboro, MA. And seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
He also was the brother of the late Rochelle Gaulin, Georgette Kwasnicki, and Lucille Bardell. Also the grandfather of the late Jordan Tellier.
His Funeral will be held on Thursday June 2, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, R.I. 02895 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady Queen of Marty's Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Wednesday June 1, 2011 from 5-7 P.M.
