James A. Paul

BURRILLVILLE- James A. Paul, 59, resident of Harrisville, died suddenly on June 9, 2011.
Loving husband of thirty seven years to Kathleen (Tatro) Paul.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of Beverly (Lurvey) Chabot of Slatersville, and the late Arthur G. Paul.
James was a Concrete Batcher for Rosenfeld Concrete Co. who maintained a Hydraulic license.
A resident of Burrillville for the majority of his life. He was a member of the following: Teamsters Union Local 170, where he served many years as a Union Steward. Jim served as a Scoutmaster for Troop 2 Harrisville with his 2 sons. He was a member of USA Boating, and an honorary member of Disabled American Veterans. Jim was a Master Captain who enjoyed boating and fishing. He filled his spare time with his loving family, ballroom dancing and traveling with his wife and friends.
Besides his wife he is survived by 2 sons, James Paul Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Maine, & Bryan Paul and his wife Rebecca of Charlestown. Grandchildren: James III, Jorge, Matt, Andy, Bryahna, and Alexandria. He also left 2 brothers: Michael, and Timothy Paul, & 2 sisters: Patricia Chabot and Deborah Silverthorne.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 5pm until 8pm.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 11am at the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy. Oakland. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Harrisville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Disabled American Veterans PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250.
