MILFORD- Ida A. (Brothers) Lambert, 94, of Milford formerly of Holliston, Bellingham and Woonsocket, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Milford Care & Rehabilitation. She was the beloved wife of the late Desire Lambert.
Born in Bellingham on April 12, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucinda (Dosteleur) Brothers.
She was the loving mother of Yvette L. Silva and her husband Richard of Medway. She leaves two step- grandchildren, Pamela Silva of Lowell, MA, Rick Silva and his wife Sharon of Woonsocket, RI and their two children, Cameron and Anthony Joseph; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alfred and Theodore Brothers, Victor Brodeur and Ruth Chamberland.
She was an attendant at Wrentham State School for many years until retiring in 1982, and previously worked for many years at Uniroyal in Woonsocket. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Senior Citizens in Woonsocket for many years. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Arrangements are private under the direction of Cartier's Funeral Home, Bellingham, MA.
