WAYLAND, MA- Emma L. (Bayer) Kerivan Krystyniak, 86, of Wayland passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of Michael Krystyniak of Wayland and the late Robert Kerivan deceased in 1986.
Born in Natick on August 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Leila (Christie) Bayer.
She was the loving mother of Robert Kerivan and wife Beverly of Oak Hill, FL, Thomas Kerivan of Franklin and Debra of Mendon, Susan Osgood and husband Avery of Bellingham, Linda Durante and husband Americo of Whitman, MA, Lisa Halstead and husband Dennis of Warsaw, NY, Heather Haney and husband Kevin of Bellingham; step-daughter Donna Kutasz of Acton; and her cherished 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Evelyn Smith of Wayland and the late Raymond Bayer and the late Edith Colby.
A resident of Wayland for 20 years formerly of Bellingham, Natick and winters in Bare Foot Bay, FL.
She was a school bus driver for several years at Vendetti Bus Company for Bellingham Schools and had also worked for many years at the former Almac's in Bellingham Center. She was a member of the Foremost Squares Square Dancing Club in Bellingham and sang with the Golden Tones in Wayland. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Mechanic St., Bellingham.
