John S. Wikiera MSW, ACSW, LIC.SW

WOONSOCKET- John S. Wikiera, 59, of Blackstone Street, Woonsocket, R.I. passed away on Thursday June 16, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Emil and Ann (Herman) Wikiera.
John was a graduate of URI, obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master's Degree in Social Work and John pursued a career in Sociological Counseling.
He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his brother Thomas and wife Mary Ann Wikiera of No. Attleboro, MA. One nephew Rudy Wikiera and one niece Julie Wikiera both of No. Attleboro.
A Funeral Home service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at 7:30 P.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will take place on Wednesday June 29, at 11 A.M., in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours are Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
