UXBRIDGE- Emile P. Goyette, 87, of High St. died Fri. June 24, at his home surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 56 years Theresa "Laura" (Graveson) Goyette died in 2007.
He is survived by his son Emile P. Goyette Jr. and his wife Denise of Chino Hills, CA; his daughter Elaine P. and her husband David Koleshis of Uxbridge; 2 grandsons Toby and his wife Lindsey and Matthew and his wife Kasey; 8 great grandchildren Sophia, Cole, Delanie, Hailey, Sterling, Brody, Marley and Jackson and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by 3 siblings Ludger F. Goyette, Bernadette Pearson and Antoinette Colonero.
Born in Northbridge, on Oct. 31, 1923 he was the son of Ludger and Bertha (Landoc) Goyette and has lived in Northbridge and Uxbridge all of his life.
Mr. Goyette worked for many years at the Stanley Woolen Mill and previously at the Draper Corp. Emile served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Wyoming for a year, was a member of St. Mary's Church in Uxbridge and enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
His funeral will be held on Tue. June 28, from Tancrell Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd Uxbridge with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Marys Church 71 Mendon St. Uxbridge. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Mon. June 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Catholic Charities 9 Spring St, Whitinsville, MA 01588.
