WOONSOCKET- Alan G. Fernandes, 49, of River St. died suddenly Tuesday June 21, 2011, after a unforeseeable accident, at a construction site in the City.
He was the husband of Sara J. (Conley) Fernandes.
Born in Woonsocket, son of Robert J. Fernandes, of Woonsocket, and the late Constance ( Turcotte ) Fernandes.
He worked as a forklift operator for CVS Warehouse for 20 years, and also for the City of Woonsocket.
Alan is also survived by one sister, Diane Frenette, of Burrillville, and six brothers, Robert J. and wife Kathleen Fernandes, of Burrillville, Marc H. and wife Stephanie Fernandes of Woonsocket, Gary R. Fernandes, of Woonsocket, Bruce E. and wife Jennifer Fernandes, of Burrillville, Brian D. and wife Sharon, of Woonsocket, Scott A. Frenandes, of Woonsocket. And several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours, are Sunday 4-7 P.M., in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA., and will be private.
