WOONSOCKET- Normand O. Lavoie 84, of Bourassa Ave., died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of the late Carolina (Pasquino) Lavoie.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Gedeon and Lumina (L'Abbee) Lavoie.
Mr. Lavoie was an automobile technician for MAC Buick for forty four years. He enjoyed cars, boating and traveling.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Lavoie of Foster, and Paul Lavoie of Portsmouth, a daughter Pauline Brackett of Keene, NH, a brother Raymond Lavoie of Burrillville, nine grand children, three great-grandchildren, and long time friend Barbara Tordorf. He was also the father of the late Norma Jean "Mike" Zachorne.
Visiting hours to which family and friends are invited will be held Friday 4-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. Burial arrangements are private.
