UXBRIDGE- Charles F. Figuerido, 80, of Hartford Ave. died Wed. June 29 at his home, surrounded by his living family.
He is survived by his son, Tommy Figuerido and his wife Jody of Uxbridge; 2 daughters Mary Lachance and her companion Christopher Beck of Uxbridge and Ann Bergeron of Uxbridge; 4 grandchildren Nicole and Michael Lachance and Adam and Jessica Figuerido; a great granddaughter Arianna Figuerido; 2 brothers William Figuerido of N. Smithfield and Robert Figuerido of Hopedale; 3 sisters Barbara Giguere of Woonsocket, Dottie Beauregard of Hollywood, FL, and Mary Langois of Bellingham; several nephews and nieces, daughter-in-law Penny Figuerido and step-grandson Nathan Wilson. He was predeceased by his son Charles A. Figuerido and his sister Elizabeth Jordan.
Born in Millville on Dec. 3, 1931 he was the son of William and Frances (Sacco) Figuerido and has lived in Millville most of his life. Mr. Figuerido owned and operated Charles Figuerido and Sons Masonry Company for many years. He served as a Cpl. in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Millville and St. Mary's Church in Uxbridge. Charles was a former volunteer Firefighter for the town on Millville. He enjoyed swing dancing, cooking and gardening.
His services will be held on Wed. July 6 from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge with a mass at St. Marys Church, 71 Mendon St Uxbridge at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Tues. July 5 from 4-8 p.m.
