Denis D. Beaulieu, Sr.

BLACKSTONE- Denis D. Beaulieu, Sr., 72, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2011 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 47 years of Georgette D. (Poirier) Beaulieu.
Born on November 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Ulric and Dolores (Fistte) Beaulieu.
He was the loving father of Denis D. Beaulieu, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Millville, MA, Joyce C. Bourgeois of Blackstone, MA, Sheri A. Schiappa and her husband David of Cranston, RI; and his cherished seven grandchildren. He was the brother of Lillian Beauregard of Pawtucket, RI.
A resident of Blackstone for 41 years formerly of Woonsocket, he was a machinist at West Hill Machine Shop in Mendon for may years until retiring. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and received the Armed Forces Longevity Service Award and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a communicant of St. Theresa Church. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing, and was a Red Sox fan. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, July 8th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Visiting hours are on Thursday, July 7th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial at the Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, Inc. to benefit the Cancer Care Fund, 14 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757 would be appreciated.
