WOONSOCKET- Wilfred E. Laforge Jr., 72, of Village Rd., died Tuesday July 5, 2011 in the Greenville Nursing Home, with his family by his side.
He was the husband of Jean (Duguay) Laforge.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Wilfred E. and Alice (Anger) Laforge Sr.
Mr. Laforge worked as a wet finisher for Lincoln Textile for 12 years, before retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Donna and her husband Kevin Goulden, of Cranston, R.I., two sons, David Laforge of Woonsocket and Wilfred E. Laforge III, and his wife Renee, of Woonsocket. Two granddaughters, Pamela and Melanie and one great granddaughter. One sister Denise Martin of Woonsocket. He also was the brother of the late Richard Laforge.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday July 8, 2011 at 7 P.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Friday evening, from 4-7 P.M. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. and will be private.
